Auditor III - Utah Office of Inspector General

Are you looking for a challenging position conducting performance audits?   Then the Office of Inspector General  has an Auditor III position for you.  Requires minimal supervision and provides functional supervision to subordinate staff.  Individual will perform the complex performance audits to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and determine effectiveness of procedures; fiscal data, accounting systems and records, or other department activities.  Other duties may include preparing summaries and reports, making recommendations for improvement, and assessing penalties where appropriate.  Auditor III's plan, perform, coordinate and lead audits.  A basic understanding of Medicaid procedures and policy is a plus.
